This large leaf suction unit is hungry to clear up large areas of fallen leaves. The PSU fan unit with its powerful 9hp Honda engine is mounted on a two wheel chassis with an integral tow bar . The favourite way of using the unit is to attach it to the rear of the leaf collecting trailer. This trailer can be supplied with trailer adaptation kit, you could modify your own trailer. The discharge hose is attached to the rear of the trailer. The operator this is able to suck up fallen leaves efficiently. A combined team of the suction hose operator and a tractor driver can clear along drives and road edges at very impressive speeds. The leaves passing through the fan are chopped up, greatly increasing the capacity of the trailer - meaning less empties per day. Many operator use this in conjunction with a hand held blower. Blow out leaves from flower beds and arkward areas and then collect them with the suction unit. The fan belt is driven and not fitted directly onto the crankshaft of the engine.

This large capacity trailer has been devolped by SCH to tow behind tractors having the description known as 'twin cut'. These tractors have a centre rear discharge blowing the cut grass/leaves into a limited size collection hopper. Frequent emptying is extremely time-consuming and frustrating. The TRCL greatly increases the collecting capacity and therefore larger areas are collected in one fill, quicker, time saving and a great cost saving in labour. The powerful motorised fan unit mounted on the front of the TRCL sucks up the green waste from the cutter deck and propels it into the trailer. The trailer has a low centre of gravity, which makes it extremely stable on hilly ground. A deflector plate on the discharge shoot is adjustable for even loading of different kinds of material. The trailer having a low centre of gravity is not able to be tipped for emptying, however a web strap anchored at one end, when pulled removes most of the waste from the TRCL via a large rear hinged tail gate. Wide profile pneumatic wheels greatly reduce wheel markings on soft ground. The TRCL can also be used on level tarmac and gravel surfaces.

This version of the PSU is supplied on a two-wheel chassis having suspension units and required lighting.

The handheld suction nozzle is fitted to three meters of 200mm diameter hose.

The discharge is via a metal tube with a swivel base to allow the direction to be altered.

The discharge head is also adjustable.

A jockey wheel and 50mm ball hitch are fitted as standard.

The fan belt is driven and not fitted directly onto the crankshaft of the engine.

The popular SCH PSU leaf sucker is now available as an all in one unit, fixed to one of our 15cwt trailers. The trailer can be pulled by small tractors, ATVs and RTVs. The unit has an 8" diameter collection hose and has a hand handle to make for comfortable operation. The TPSU range of leaf suckers can cope with large quantities of leaves being drawn up and then chopped by the fan. This means that much smaller pieces go into the trailer thereby effectively increasing capacity due to there being fewer trips to empty. If wet leaves or other debris block the inlet, cleaning is simple via the removal of just one bolt. There is also an inspection door fitted with a safety interlocking switch. The fan is belt driven so there is no shock loading on the crankshaft. The tips of the fan itself are easily and cheaply replaceable. The trailer is narrow enough to fit down small paths and when not being used to collect leaves, the suction unit can be removed thus supplying you with a trailer for a multitude of other purposes.
